About SkyGuard Restoration
SkyGuard Restoration has served Indian Trail since 2024. Meet our IICRC-certified restoration team. Licensed, insured, locally owned.
SkyGuard Restoration opened its doors in 2024, built around a simple premise: when water, fire, or storm damage hits a home or business, the property owner needs someone who answers the phone and shows up ready to work, not someone who schedules an estimate for next Tuesday. Restoration became the focus because it’s work that matters in the moment it’s needed, not before and not after.
What we do
Most days start with a phone call from someone who didn’t expect to need us. A pipe let go behind a wall overnight. A grease fire filled a kitchen with smoke that’s now settling into every fabric in the house. A storm took part of the roof and rain followed it in. Because we operate 24/7, that call gets answered whenever it comes in, and a crew gets moving.
A good part of the job happens outside the house too: documenting the loss with photos and moisture readings, writing up what we find in terms an insurance adjuster will recognize, and walking the homeowner through what happens next so the claims process feels less like a maze. People don’t usually call a restoration company on a good day. We try to make the rest of that day a little more manageable.
Our certifications and licensure
Our technicians hold IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Fire & Smoke Restoration (FSRT). The IICRC sets the technical standards the restoration industry works from, things like how long a structure needs to dry before it’s safe to close back up, or how smoke residue behaves differently on drywall versus wood trim. Our crews are also OSHA trained, which shapes how we handle job sites that often involve standing water, damaged electrical systems, or structural debris. These aren’t marketing badges. They’re the reason a technician knows to check behind a baseboard instead of just running a fan in the middle of the room.
Where we work
SkyGuard Restoration is based in Indian Trail and works throughout the surrounding area, including Charlotte, Concord, Monroe, Matthews, Mint Hill, Waxhaw, Stallings, and Weddington. It’s a mix of territory, older in-town neighborhoods, newer subdivisions built out as Union and Mecklenburg counties grew, and everything in between, which means the water and fire problems we see vary almost as much as the housing stock itself. We stick to this footprint because knowing the area, the builders, the typical plumbing and roofing of a given decade, is part of doing the job right.
